#2 (Set of 3) - Child Reading to Toy Bear- "Once Upon a Time"

Child and Bear
The center figurine is a figure from Enesco's Laura Attic limited edition figurines. © 1990 Enesco Coporation. This item was designed by Karen Hahn and is numbered 1996 of a run of 10,000. The child sits in a basket which is on a platform (floor) on which a plate of 2 partially eaten cookies sits, with a turned over glass of milk. The item comes with a certificate of authenticity. Original price in 1990 was $71.99. Size of the original figurine is 4 inches across the base; and approximately 3.75 inches at the highest point. The two imitations are 3 inches at the base (remember no floor piece so basket is similar in size). Height is slightly less, to account for the lack of a base. The two figurines that appear to be imitations of the original do not include a floor piece, and the child figures each wear a hat. Note the difference in hair color, color of books, but the general lay of the blankets etc. hanging over the basket are the same.
